Terms of use

These terms apply when you use egig.in, run by Rebota Technologies (“eGig”, “we”). By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy policy.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use eGig.
  • Use your real name and keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One person, one account. Companies are managed through company pages.

What you post

  • You own what you post. You let eGig show it on the platform, in search engines and in share previews, until you delete it.
  • Only post work you made or have the right to share.
  • Not allowed: hate, harassment, sexual content, content involving children, violence, fake jobs, spam, impersonation, misleading claims, or asking job seekers for money.
  • If a photo, video or voice is made or changed with AI so it looks real, say so when you post. eGig labels it, and you must not remove or hide that label. Never use AI to show a real person doing or saying something they didn’t.
  • Paid promotions and brand deals must be marked as such in the post.

Jobs

  • Every job must show a real salary range and a real employer.
  • Employers and agencies must never charge applicants any fee, deposit or training charge.
  • Jobs must not ask for a particular gender, religion, caste or marital status, unless the law requires it for that role.
  • Jobs abroad can only be posted by recruiting agents registered with the Ministry of External Affairs, and must show the registration number.
  • eGig can review, pause or remove any job before or after it goes live.

Freelance projects and gigs

  • eGig connects clients and freelancers. You agree your own scope, price and timeline, and pay each other directly. eGig is not a party to that contract, does not hold money and takes no commission.
  • Contracts, milestones and “mark paid” on eGig are records to help both sides. They are not a payment guarantee.
  • Leave honest reviews only for work that actually happened.

Paid plans

  • Prices on the Pricing page include GST. Nothing is added at checkout.
  • Plans don’t renew automatically. Refunds and delivery are covered in our cancellation and refund policy.

Our role and your content

  • eGig is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Members are responsible for what they post.
  • We act on valid court and government orders within the time the law sets, and on reports from members as described on the Grievance officer page.
  • We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law, especially scams. We tell you why, and you can appeal to our grievance officer.

Limits

  • eGig is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running and safe but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free.
  • We aren’t responsible for what members say or do, or for deals between members. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid eGig in the last 12 months.

Changes and law

  • If we change these terms in an important way, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before the change applies.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of India.
