It answers the 2026-07-28 revision through server/discover, and older clients through initialize. It keeps no sessions.

get_freelance_price_guide | What a freelance service usually costs in India in rupees, by level, from eGig’s price guide. It is a guide, and the final price is agreed between client and freelancer. |
find_free_tool | Find a free tool on eGig, such as a resume builder, ATS resume checker, salary, GST or engineering calculator, invoice maker or biodata maker. No sign-up is needed to use them. |

What you get, and what you don’t
- Jobs. Jobs posted on eGig, and jobs from boards that allow them to be passed on, are listed in full. Other jobs on eGig are counted and reached through the link in each answer.
- People. Only those who chose a public profile. No phone numbers, email addresses or private details are returned.
- Guides. Salary and price figures are rough guides, so please call them that. How eGig checks its facts.
Fair use
- Up to 120 MCP calls and 60 JSON calls a minute from one address. Past that, the answer is HTTP 429: wait a minute and try again.
- Give people the eGig link for each result, because that is where they apply or send a proposal.
- Don’t resell the results or suggest that eGig endorses your product. The rest of the terms apply.
